This is the 112th tipping tournament in general, 33rd and LAST regular tipping event in 2010.
How to play
Playing Tipping is very easy. I will post the schedule and then you just tip who you think will win. Just type "in" to play (this will make my life easier but if you forgot to post "in" this is not the end of the world).
e.g If the schedule was...
Ivanovic vs Sharapova
V. Williams vs S. Williams
This is how you would tip...
Ivanovic
V. Williams
It is only main draw singles matches.
If there's 1 point played in a match then the match counts (walkover doesn´t count).
Pick for each match should be posted before the scheduled start of that match.
For the final match you will also need to guess how many games will be played. This will work as a tiebreaker.
Do NOT edit your post. If you want to change your picks do it in a new post. Edited posts will make all your picks invalid.
How to solve ties
1. The player who is closest in games guessed.
2. The player who guessed the winner.
3. The player who got the most correct picks in the semi final. If the same, move backwards to quarterfinal and so on.
4. The player who posted the fastest post in the final. If no one posted in the final go backwards to the semis and so on.
Scoring and bonus points
First Round = 1 point per correct tip.
Every additional round = one point more than for the previous, per correct tip.
Bonus points:
W: 160
F: 120
SF: 80
QF: 60

Don't know what would Tales (or anyone else) say about this, cause we've never had this kind of situation before, but I say we count it, cause it was posted in time for a SF match and it's a correct pick, so no reason not to count IMO. Sometimes it happens that players are unable to play the finals so they post their picks even before the semis, and if we can allow that, than we can accept this too.
BTW, Tales didn't secure a spot for Doha yet, cause if he doesen't get tomorrow's winner right he'll get the title, but with not enough points to overtake #8 (he needs at least 43):eek: :)

Well, the thing is that s/he could of got more correct than Kirilenko, in this case it's the same as someone would post all possible winners for SF, and it wouldn't be fair to pick the 2 out of those and count them. (Picking a final winner before the finalists are known is a bit different imo, because it's stated in which case which pick works.)
So, I'm not going to count it.

Smart move. I should worry about my dismal ranking...but I'm hoping I won't fall too far down....hopefully....
tina110 and dontchokeplz. had the exact scores for each round, and also the same amount of games, but since dontchokeplz. posted for the final before tina110, will be on 6th place and tina110 on 7th place.

Sorry Sasja, looks like you'll be playing Bali after all, tough luck at the last tournament for you - but hey, there's always next year;) You'll be receiving our last invitation for Bali these days so stay tuned:)
As for the others, another season is behind us, some of us will play one more tournament each and that's it for 2010. I sure hope to see you next year too, and it'd also be nice to see you discussing tipping in our part of the Games section of this forum, so that we settle everything in time for 2011. You can give your ideas, join existing or create new discussions, or even apply for managing events in 2011, cause the calendar is already up.

It's a 52 rolling ranking system, not a race, so yes you will keep the points for a year :)

Well played Tales, well played. I had to create some stress for someone didn't I? Couldn't let you beat Sasja indo Doha without a fight! I won my first title ever on TF in Suicide Tennis, so this week was not a complete loss..and Tales was a very worthy opponent.
