This beats even that infamous edition of Tashkent when the first 2 seeded players, Mikaelian and Poutchek, reached the final:spit:

A few years ago, Bychkova was the No.1 seed in Tashkent, ranked outside the top-70, and she lost first round. :spit:

I don't blame them
My home town is dirty and hot and not good for health :tape:
But night life is spectacular [ maybe players want to lose early to go out and have fun ]
don't forget to tell Taxi drivers where your going or they charge you more
some might not have Air conditioners. Don't take yellow ones they are the more likely to
Rob you. Oh and don't mind people walking naked and people shout at you. And Bring your Gas masks!
Oh and don't wear expensive shoes. They are most likely to get dirty and scraped

I know they picked Guangzhou because it is semi-tropical and not cold this time of year, but perhaps they should move the WTA event to the new tennis center in Ningbo...

Great chance for Jarka! It's very important to be No 1 seed on a WTA Tour event! WOW!

If she beat Halep on R2, she will win! Vamos Jarka!!!
