hello ppl....woth jelena playing like crap the last few tournies and not being able to defend any of her points from last yr....she lost in semi's of princess cup...(won last yr)...1 round kremlin cup (won last yr) and now 2 round in swisccom challenge (finalist last yr)...and up ahead is linz...again where she is defending runners-up position....she is gonna be out of top 8 soooon...prob like $9-10! and lindsay is gonna be out of top 10 soooon also...coz i am sure KIm is gonna beat her in the qtrs again...and she has winners points to defend....nice to see the new generation of players....kim,henin etc taking it to linsday.....lindsay isnt good these days to match these other faster girls....and btw congrats to alex s...she's finally showing some promise...

Yeah I would like to see some other girls ranked ahead of her. Jelena's game is still kinda boring to watch. Don't want to fall too far though. :D

if you don't win you deserve to go down the table
however, i hope Lindsay will beat Kim :)

lindsay will be probably out of top 10 in few weeks, but in few months she'll be in top 5 again cos she has NO points until July :)
Best moments are still to come...

The Kim vs. Lindsay match will be interesting. Kim is tired from last week, but Lindsay is still gradually finding her form after comming back from injury (not that she's playing badly, it's just not up to her usual standard). I think we're in for another 3 set match

Next year the big jumpers will be Davenport and Hingis. The big fallers will be Serena and Venus. Serena has 3 Slams. She could defend them all, but still loose points. She beat #1 in 2 of 3 slams, so probally will be #1 for French and Wimbledon.

Dokic, well, I'm not surprised. She has been playing so much. This is more reason for her to play Aussie.

Hingis will actually probably finish the year ranked 10 because she won't lose any points and Davenport probably will!!!!!

Sorry tennis love, Hingis will not be the opne going up. She will not be a finalist at AO. Her only chance to do so is if every Belgian, and American player died in a plane crash....and Hantuchova, Dokic and all the top 20 having an injured ankle.....She will not go up next year....Davenport will though, I agree, with Hantuchova....Dokic will be in the place she deserves, 9-11.....

As for Venus and Serena they will not fall, because they are dominant at the time and will be next year....

A player who could go up too is dementieva who was really not at her best from this year...

Go Venus and Serena, Daniela and Elena D!!!!!!

Hingis will drop further after January is over, but from then on, she has hardly any points to defend. F in Indian Wells, QF in Miami and SF in Hamburg. Then NOTHING. She will move up.

why inevitable chrispy? i think conversely it was TOTALLY avoidable...all she had to do was schedule smarter! simple?
