Eurosport tape request

If anyone can tape the Patty-Mauresmo match on Eurosport later today can the please contact me as I would like to get a copy of it.

I will pay for the tape and the postage.

Hey, just a quick word of warning in the tape exchange--vogus, I assume from your flag that you're from the US, and I THINK that European tapes don't work in the US.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

if Patty is on Eurosport at 7:50 pm, I will tape it. If nobody is interested anymore then I can delete it - no problem

no, I want Alex-Dokic. And we in the USA are not so silly. we know people in Euorpe and know we need to convert tapes.

I want the Patty match if it is shown, but I don't want the current match at all.

If you have the right video system you can have tapes from including PAL, NTSC and Secam and that is what I have.

so can I switch off the recorder now?

Actually, the ancient American NTSC system is the barbaric one, with its low resolution and hideous color.

Come to Europe and experience the glory of PAL - or its fine French cousin, SECAM.

A multi-system VCR will solve the problem. Or you can have the tape converted somewhere - if it's something really important.

Edited to add: In fairness to NTSC it does have a higher framerate... On the other hand, I believe teletext is a foreign concept to NTSC viewers.
