Good move by Wozniacki, most top 5 or top 10 players should really only play Tokyo and Beijing. Unless you are struggling to qualify for Doha

Well if I were her I would want the most points possible as she will be either trying to get or hold the top ranking at this point in the year and this is a relatively weak Premier event, so potentially easier than most to win, and she has proven these past few weeks that she can handle a heavy schedule, and it likely even helps her!

Now that I think about it, Wozniacki might actually enter, cause she is only behind 1000 points, but considering Serena cannot gain anything from Doha and will more likely than not withdraw from Tokyo. Caroline has decent shot at ending #1

Serena has 6995( defending 1640 points from Doha/Beijing) =5355
Wozniacki 5910 tokyo 1 beijing 5 osaka 130 Lux 1 Doha 530= 5244

Tarpishchev not worried about non-participation Zvonareva and Safina in the Kremlin Cup

At the moment, Zvonareva, Kuznetsova and Safina officially its rejection not confirmed, but to see these women's tennis at the Kremlin Cup, starting on October 18, fans will not succeed.

"Failures before the tournament - a perfectly normal phenomenon. Zvonareva preparing for the tournament in Doha, all the tasks it has already fulfilled, so give up - her right. Safina is now clearly out of order, the form it not the same. Kuznetsova A sick, she had bronchitis. Nothing terrible in the failure can not see, "- said Tarpishchev
Long-time leader of Russian tennis, Elena Dementieva prefer Moscow competition tournament in Luxembourg, which will be held at the same time as the Kremlin Cup.
"The tournament in Luxembourg is much easier than Moscow. Naturally, she wants to win and climb as high as possible in the ranking. Physically, she is ready to completely normal. Lena many missed due to injury, rest, she has not" ate "tennis and now looks good "- said Tarpishchev.

But to say exactly that Serena will perform at the Kremlin Cup, is premature. Come - well, do not come - do not. If the American won the shape and feels that the ideal is, then give up - her right. If you believe that the form is not one that will come close to the tournament in Doha, "- said President

"If the tournament was at the level of" superdevyatki ", it would be more top players. In view of the fact that the points at the Kremlin Cup by less than the main competition of the year, the tennis players and refuse depending on their condition. If the points were as in "super-nine", then would come all, no matter in what form who is "- said President OFWs.

As far as I'm concerned, the entry list goes by the WTA ranking of the last day it was possible to enter the tournament without having a wild card. So, K. Bondarenko now receives a direct entry, because she was under the Top 60 when she registered for Moscow. Only the draw and seed positions are geared to the current rankings. In this case, the ranking of 11th October. ;)

that's not possible. Katya B is ranked 1xx and she got direct entry ?

As far as I'm concerned, the entry list goes by the WTA ranking of the last day it was possible to enter the tournament without having a wild card. So, K. Bondarenko now receives a direct entry, because she was under the Top 60 when she registered for Moscow. Only the draw and seed positions are geared to the current rankings. In this case, the ranking of 11th October. ;)

Yep. Entry rankings are the player's ranks at the entry cut off, which is 6 weeks prior to the tourney for the main draw, and 3 weeks for qualifying (qualys different at Grand Slams, I think). Ranks used for seeds are the ranks 1 week before the tourney.
