After cutting beef and pork from her diet last year, Serena Williams dropped a few kilos: "I feel more fit, more fast".

She also said she's a picky eater thanks to a sensitive stomach and several bouts of food poisoning: "Last year my mother was so worried about me that she started cooking all meals to make sure I ate right." Now in restaurants she follows her big sister's lead. "I eat whatever Venus eats because Venus never has this problem".

Nicely done Serena :wavey:

her diet helps but its her power game with little errors that push her to the top. plus the best 2nd serve in the business.

anton, her game was always up there in the beginning. imo, it's the diet that made the difference and many athletes would do wonders to their results by following a vegetarian or low-meat diet.

it would help the lives of ordinary people too.

sam l,

serena was making a lot of errors in big matches(new york 2001) which she recently stopped. instead of the error, she will hit a breathtaking winner.(new york 2002)

Gosh Treu, I'm sure Serena will greatly appreciate your Language Arts lesson today. As her fan, I just want to thank you from the very bottom of my ass. I'll never forget the clarity that you gave to Serena's sentence. You're the best man....I love you!

Wow. I am glad my grammar lesson unleashed a chain of events causing the brickhousesupporter to spill java all over the keyboard.

*Handing HAIL-VENUS and brickhousesupporter some Charmin to wipe the bottom of his ass and wipe up that nasty cuppa joe. *

You're quite welcome Brickhouse. LOL. Oh, and Treu, thank you ever so much, once again. Your random acts of kindness shall not be overlooked. You're in such a generous mood today.

:D Cool response HAIL-VENUS. Sorry about correcting her grammar but improper declination of the comparative and superlative forms of adjectives is one of my pet peeves. Still I applaud the dietary changes that Serena has made. Less piggies and cattle slaughtered is a great thing. :D

Vegetarian= so Serena is much closer to heaven now. :D

I know Serena can still F#@! up a steak. Watch all her competitors offer to take her out for a steak dinner in an attempt to halt her domination agenda.

Good job, Babygirl. Don't let THEM bring your down! Stay off of that slaughtered garbage. :D ;) :)

A lesson in punctuation for those who are unfamiliar with conversational English and believe that Serena has never heard the word "farter".
Serena is more explosive, more aggressive, more ... fast.

Hello? I think the point of this thread is:

"Stay off of that slaughtered garbage" - as said by harloo

Nicely put harloo :)
