Sorry for the late update (it's been a while)

Hantuchova added as the new top 10 player, but I let Hingis in as she's always been and will be a top10 player.

You did put  after Jelena vs. Daniela record 0/3, but you didn't in case of Henin vs. Lindsay 0/4 even it's worse.

Just trying to be objective ;)

A lot of players are 0/4, but to loose 7 matches is really , especially if you know that Dokic has won only 1 set in 7 matches!!! Henin did a lot better with her 2 sets in 4 matches ;)

And for the case of Hantuchova, every beat her at least once, except for Dokic who managed to loose 3 matches ;)

Interesting. However these stats reflect the past . It is obvious that younger players come out less performant in these figures...

As for Seles, her 'great' stats are against players not on this list.
So in order to remain consistent RB should take out Hingis for the next stats.

You know I wonder if Lindsay would have preferred to lose 6-3 0-6 0-6 or 5-7 0-6, she was serving for the set

Just to see that Jelena doesn't belong to the top ten

VenusSerena
Oct 14th, 2002, 02:23 AM
also you should realize that Venus and Serena really have a winning streak going on against Lindsay and Hingis, the reason Lindsay and Hingis have a big lead on Venus is b/c they played soo often at the beginning of Venus' career. The same for Hingis and Serena. But really Lindsay has never really figured out how to beat Serena, only on a couple of occasions. And one was i believe their first meeting.

Head to head statistics are often quite interesting, though people shouldn't read too much into it, as it always favours the older players: young up&coming players had to play the top players in their prime... A good example is Kim vs. Lindsay: Lindsay was 5-1 up in 2000/2001, but is 3-1 down in 2002/2003 ...
