I thought Justine didn't want to play the week before Wimbledon because it's allegedly the reason she's never won?

This is the first time Justine would have lost in Paris and playing a grass tune-up since 2002 so circumstances are different.

I think it's better for her to play in this not so deep field. We know stamina isn't one of Justine's huge strengths and she'll have time to play and adjust her game not feeling exhausted for Wimbledon

Tamarine is HollandŽs queen, sheŽll win it for a third straight year, sheŽll even beat Henin, because Tamarine plays just like Bartoli on grass, Justine hates playing Marion on grass, so Tamarine will win in three sets in the final...

Maybe Safina can pick her season here...

Justine has played Bartoli twice on grass before, and thrashed Marion the other time they played. In her loss as well, it wasn't like Marion blew her off the court. Sides, Tammy doesn't have the firepower of Marion. Still, in her current form, Justine could lose to anyone, so who knows?

Okay really Justine if you lose with this field of uselessness + Tanasugarn, just withdraw from Wimbledon.

Vesnina in a polling option. :crying2: So not even worth it.

Henin or Tanasugarn probably.

This has been the grasscourt tournament of choice for the grassophobes for as long as I can remember. The ATP draw has been a riot for years.

I remember that ES covered the ATP event here back in 2006, and there was some coverage of the ATP tournament last year on the local sports channel, and they ended up showing a couple of WTA matches by accident. But not this year. I wonder if the World Cup will also make the local sports channel drop WTA Bastad, which to my astonishment they showed last year (along with Chokoroz later on).
