Oh well, at least she pushed another Top20 player. Wish she would start winning some of these...

Kerber is a mystery to me. :o I remember her being an amazing retriever years ago, remember her like running left right against Vaidisova at USO 2006? Also some clay MM against Vaidisova too :sobbing:
But everytime I've seen her this year, she is just slow. Can't see her succeeding on this surface as she's slow and doesn't have the aggressiveness to make up for it. :(

Saw the third set today. Na went out to 2-0 because Angelique couldn't hit a ball in. AFWUL body language, giving up on points, terrible. Got it together and the match tightened back up, both girls were getting down on themselves.
4-4 : Li hits at least 3 UEs, gets broken
4-5 : Li plays lights out, breaks back
5-5 : Li plays lights out
6-5 : tight, then at 30-30 Kerber hits two UEs.
Kerber did herself no favours, was body serving too much and only once or twice tried to kick it out wide using her lefty advantage. Oh well. Both are nuts.
