It's not true. She won a match after Brisbane (against Rus in Miami). But she's on the way of fall out from the top100. It's so sad. She said that (ago several weeks) she had mental problems. She play too careful game or play a more agressive game with many many mistake. :sad:

Im so happy about this result! First WTA tour win since Memphis last year :woohoo: And to think Marina couldnt even qualify for ITFs a month ago! I hope its the start of a successful comeback :)

I watched some of this. Marina's serve was very impressive, her forehand.. less so. Serving for the match she put one easy forehand into the bottom of the net and one into the back fence.

Melinda was well on top in the first set, she must have had at least half a dozen break points that Marina saved with big serves. In the second set it was pretty even until Melinda started to get frustrated with Marina's slice backhands and basically gave up after her serve was broken.
