There's also a transsexual golf player born as a male on the women's golf tour, named Mianne Bagger

Sarah Gronert

Gender

Gronert is widely regarded to have been born intersex (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersexuality), with both male and female genitalia. She had surgery at the age of 19 to remove the aspects that were regarded as 'male' from her genitalia, and is legally considered to be a woman.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Gronert#cite_note-3)[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Gronert#cite_note-4)

There is a movie about the life of Renee Richards called "Second Serve" from 1986. Richards was played by Vanessa Redgrave.

Right. A transsexual is born in the wrong body. Feels himself/herself as the other gender.
A transvestite man wears woman clothes for sexual excitement, but they don´t see themselves really as woman. They are even rarely gay.

technically it's "transsexual women", or at least that's how MTFs like to refer to themselves, but there's a discussion about that in the scientific community. same for transsexual men, of course.
