yes, this week and and last week in Moscow have been incredible surprises.

In the last two weeks all of the top ten players have lost to LOWER-RANKED players out of the top ten. Except for Monica and Serena who did not play of course. Venus lost to Maggie, Jennifer to Alex, Lindsay to Maggie, Martina to Nadia and to Elena, Justine to Myriam, Kim to Anastasia, Amelie to Maggie, Jelena to Amanda and to Tatiana. Also notable was Chanda's loss to Babsi and Kournikova's loss due to an injury.
