Mine was at my mums work. They had tennis courts there and I can remember barely being able to hit the ball on the strings! I must've been about 8, but I never played regularly until I was 10. :p

My parents forced me to take many classes when I was young (piano, art, etc.) and one includes tennis as well. But I didn't mind tennis since I like it. First time I played was when I was around 7-8. First time I watched a tennis match was in 2004, I was around 9 years old then.

Can't really remember very well... I was 5 or so I'm told. I remember hitting squishy yellow foam balls against a wall in an indoors multipurpose hall with lots of other kids. That might not have been the absolutely first time but it was one of the first times. I remember the racquet, a little black one. I always liked it.

I was 5 years old and it was at an after-school club. We played with foam balls and I remember at the end of each lesson we'd line up in front of the net and practice smashes
I joined a proper tennis club when I was about 6 but left when I was 12 and started secondary school. I should really start playing again actually :)

I started watching around 5 or 6 or agassi and the williamses. and started hitting the ball around probably 8 or 9 on a grass field, me and my friend would just volley and if we got bored played against a wall like handball. i didn't have proper court til around 13 and have loved the game ever since.
