Miyabi Inoue

Thought I'd make a thread for Miyabi who made the tough decision to turn pro in February.

Had a great junior career reaching the Top 10, and making the SF at Wimbledon last year.

Interestingly, she's only ever played 3 senior events! :eek:

After being out with injury for 2 months, her first tourney as a pro should be $10K Mie, which I'm predicting she'll get some sort of WC.

Unranked qualifier Miyabi Inoue, 18, from Japan made it through to her debut singles final on the ITF Pro Circuit at the $10,000 tournament in Komoro, Japan. A dream of claiming victory in her first ever final though was brought to a swift end by her opponent Sachie Ishizu.

The 17-year old No. 1 seed, also from Japan and due to participate in the upcoming Junior Wimbledon tournament, ran out a 60 61 winner to earn a third ITF Pro Circuit singles title of 2010 and is now closing in on a place within the WTA top 300.
