Alisa's clay season

I thought that its time to open this tread... Can't wait to see her on clay courts! :bounce:

I'd imagine she'll play Charleston, Rome and Madrid.

I think she will probably play Fed Cup against the USA but I don't think it's on clay :unsure:

I hope she plays Fed Cup,Russia needs her and I think it only makes her good to have more Fed Cup experience (the Serbian experience was already a positive one).But of course it all depends on her body,it's not a good idea a surcharge because clay season is very demanding physically.

Unfortunately, Alisa has had to withdraw from the MPS Group Championships in Ponte Vedra and the Family Circle Cup in Charleston due to injury. She will be recovering at home and hopes to be back in action soon.

Alisa, fingers crossed for your quick return to health and fitness!

Kleybanova plays doubles with Dekmeijere today - must say I thought Alisa would be able to find a slightly better partner.

I hope Fran/Alisa team up again, particularly for Wimbledon because they could be a very dangerous team on grass.
