I don't know but that was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on a tennis court :tape:

You're probably talking about Bartoli. If you are, fyi, she didn't DF 4 times in a row. She hit 3 to be down 15-40 and another one at 30-40 to get broken.

It wasn't 4 in a row. 3 + 1 later.

You're right, I shouldve rephrased it. :tears: Still pathetic though.

But to answer your question, yes. I forget who it was, but it happened in a double match. The opponents were Chaky/Mirza. The team led 30love only to hit 4 DFs in a row to give away the game and the 1st set.

4 times in a game to give the opponent free break not 4 times in a row

There are literally thousands of matches played each year, particularly when you include ITFs and qualifying. I'm sure this has happened hundreds of times over the years. It's not good and it certainly isn't something to be proud of but shit happens and life moves on.

Dementieva, Zvonareva, Kournikova?

I remember that she did it against Sharapova, in some tournament of US Open Series, last year.

I remember in 2004, I was watching Elena Dementieva vs Claudine Schaul (who?) playing second round at the Pilot Pen tennis.

Elena started to serve, she served four consecutive double faults in that game... that game Ill never, never forget
