I think Lindsay will win, but I think Maleeva has a great chance at winning this title. Lindsay hasn't been playing as well as she can but I think she will raise her level knowing it is a final and knowing she has a great chance to win her first title of the year.

I will say Lindsay 6-3 2-6 6-1

I agree with Monica - Lindsay is just too big and strong for Maggie - but we thought that of Venus... Lindsay hasn't been playing well, but it is a final, and like all great champions, they normally find a way of winning.

However Maggie is in the form of her life and her confidence must be sky-high. She must be tired though and emotionally tired too - so I hope she doesn't have a let-down in the final and get trounced.

If she plays as well as she did againts Amelie she does have a chance and I would love to see her doing it. It would be an amazing story to win a Tier 1 unseeded beating 3 top tenners - especially when her form has been so bad up until this week...

King Lindsay

I think Maleeva's about done. It's been a great week, but this is Davenport indoors. I say, two sets, close match, but goes to Lindsay.

Davenport's weapon is her serve, especially indoors. It should lead her to her first title of the year.

BUt Maleeva has been playing SO well, and Davenport was not at her best against Coetzer.

I think Lindsay in three.
