Who will win R of 16: Clijsters or Azarenka?goldenlox Mar 28th, 2010, 10:17 PM Tournament getting interesting now. 2 former Miami champions Rafito. Mar 28th, 2010, 10:19 PM Azarenka in 3 sets! vwfan Mar 28th, 2010, 10:20 PM could go either way. Azarenka in better form, so voted Vika. #kArLoS# Mar 28th, 2010, 10:21 PM let it be azarenka roelc Mar 28th, 2010, 10:21 PM very good serve stats from both players kim has beaten azarenka before, so i see her doing it again. especially in this form Certinfy Mar 28th, 2010, 10:22 PM Azarenka in 3. AnnaK_4ever Mar 28th, 2010, 10:29 PM Clijsters will have to play awful in order to lose this. The Dawntreader Mar 28th, 2010, 10:30 PM Clijsters will have to play awful in order to lose this. That could very well happen. Lesborah Mar 28th, 2010, 10:31 PM Vika :hearts: allrounder Mar 28th, 2010, 10:33 PM Hope Vika will win, but i think Clijsters will with how she's been playing so far. Fingers crossed for Vika though :) SoClose Mar 28th, 2010, 10:34 PM Kim in 2 :o doktor Mar 28th, 2010, 10:34 PM i think kim, depends a lot on return here i think though. sh_shade Mar 28th, 2010, 10:42 PM i would like to see azarenka's hot ass in QF, but i think Kim will win. AnnaK_4ever Mar 28th, 2010, 10:44 PM That could very well happen. Wholeheartedly agreed. That's why I didn't say Clijsters would necessarily win the match. ;) Jane Lane Mar 28th, 2010, 10:46 PM Fingers crossed for Vika! The Dawntreader Mar 28th, 2010, 10:47 PM Wholeheartedly agreed. That's why I didn't say Clijsters would necessarily win the match. ;) Very wise;) Much slower court than Toronto, and that match was veering in Azarenka's favour too for a while. Noctis Mar 28th, 2010, 10:48 PM PLS Kim need to get back in top ten Vikapower Mar 28th, 2010, 10:58 PM Vika in 2 or 3, who cares Vika'll win this anyway. slamchamp Mar 28th, 2010, 11:01 PM Clijsters roelc Mar 28th, 2010, 11:02 PM Vika in 2 or 3, who cares Vika'll win this anyway. because she always wins against kim? AnaRGChampion Mar 28th, 2010, 11:09 PM Kim takes Miami :lick: Rafito. Mar 28th, 2010, 11:10 PM because she always wins against kim? They have only ever played one time, with kim winning in 3 sets. So it's hard to say. Sassy-Na Mar 28th, 2010, 11:11 PM kim :D Andrewraven Mar 28th, 2010, 11:16 PM it's hard to tell but i'd like vika to win, vika in three Serena y Monica Mar 28th, 2010, 11:23 PM This will be a huge challenge for Vika...I really hope she can keep her head together and pull this out. Olórin Mar 28th, 2010, 11:29 PM Go Kimothy, go! roelc Mar 29th, 2010, 12:24 AM i didn't know that the match is already tomorrow afternoon! kim is still playing her doubles match now... Yorker Mar 29th, 2010, 12:26 AM Kim in straights, 6-4, 6-3 RedonYan Mar 29th, 2010, 02:47 AM Hope Vika will win Ryan Mar 29th, 2010, 03:01 AM This would be AWESOME to watch. I think Kim will win, 7-5 6-3 ish. But I hope Vika can pull it off. BlackPanther. Mar 29th, 2010, 03:01 AM Vika in three :yeah: égalité Mar 29th, 2010, 03:05 AM Kim in 2 :D Huntress55 Mar 29th, 2010, 03:26 AM Go Kim :D! Id be happy if Vika wins though :) Volcana Mar 29th, 2010, 04:14 AM I could look up the stats first, but let's see what my gut says. If CLijsters plays the best tennis she's capable of playing, she'll win. Obviously. But let's assume Clijsters plays 'B+' tennis. Good, not great. In that case, this is a pretty good test of Azarenka's mastery of her own game. B+ Clijsters will nullify the Azarenka's normal game. Can Azarenka take her tools and game and use them in a new way? Can she actually construct points against a player as fast, and as experienced, as Clijsters? If they both do what they normally do, Clijsters wins. If Azarenka shows up with a game plan, and the will and ability to execute it, she'll win unless Clijsters is 'lights out'. tennnisfannn Mar 29th, 2010, 04:54 AM Vika is all agression nad kim not so. Vika would have to be so patient if she is to win. Inger67 Mar 29th, 2010, 04:57 AM I suppose I won't mind if either win. But I would like to see a Vee/Kim final so I guess come on Clijsters! :) Oh and I was surprised to see that Kim has only lost 3 games for 2 matches. This should be a REALLY good match if both play to their potential, but in the end I think Kim will be too much for Azarenka. After these points come off Azarenka will be #9 and nearly out of top 10  kiwialicat Mar 29th, 2010, 04:59 AM I went with Vika on instinct, but my instincts have been known to be more wrong than right. :) Helaena Mar 29th, 2010, 06:11 AM i think kim will win this but a vika win is also not a surprise... Pops Maellard Mar 29th, 2010, 06:19 AM Kim will win. But I'll be happy either way. _Cell-chuk Mar 29th, 2010, 07:13 AM Come on Vika, you can do it. Just be patient and attack on the right ball. WowWow Mar 29th, 2010, 07:18 AM Go Vika! I never thought I'd say that :sobbing: Betten Mar 29th, 2010, 07:35 AM Normally this is Kim's match to lose, especially after her convincing win over Peer, but if she implodes without warning as she did in Australia and Indian Wells... SELVEN Mar 29th, 2010, 07:39 AM Kim skanky~skanketta Mar 29th, 2010, 08:30 AM It really depends on which Kim shows up. In the past, Kim was consistency personified. You could always depend on her to go far, especially on hardcourts, where her game is just spectacular. However, this year, Kim has been terribly up and down. Losing 6-0 6-1 to Petrova? At the Australian Open? And then screwing up so badly at Indian Wells? If the normal Kim shows up, she'll win. But if "Get me the fuck outta here" Kim shows up, Azarenka just has to be smart and keep the ball in play to any one of Kim's wings. Hoping for Kim to win though! le bon vivant Mar 29th, 2010, 09:18 AM This is interesting. Azarenka could be either one of Kim's bitches (Sharapova pre-2007) or a major nemesis (Sharapova 2007-now?). Daniel Mar 29th, 2010, 10:02 AM Kim in 2 sets madmax Mar 29th, 2010, 10:06 AM Azarenka is ranked higher and is much more consistent nowadays - Vika in two skanky~skanketta Mar 29th, 2010, 11:49 AM This is interesting. Azarenka could be either one of Kim's bitches (Sharapova pre-2007) or a major nemesis (Sharapova 2007-now?). The difference is that Azarenka does not have Maria's serve. She also does not have nearly as much firepower on the forehand side. As I said earlier, Kim really should win this. Vika isn't fast and doesn't have a killer serve. She does, however, have the killer instinct. fifiricci Mar 29th, 2010, 11:57 AM Clijsters will have to play awful in order to lose this. Now there's the rub. Comeback Kim is less predictable and more erratic than the original version, so who can say? I hope Kim will win. She can win, if she turns up mentally and physically on the day ........................... Corswandt Mar 29th, 2010, 11:59 AM Kimberly in str8ts. TennisFan66 Mar 29th, 2010, 12:15 PM Clijsters will have to play awful in order to lose this. Emotional hedge. LOL. 'I told you so blah blah'. Go Vika Go :bounce: PineappleBoy Mar 29th, 2010, 02:10 PM Vika Come On Yarden Mar 29th, 2010, 02:51 PM Go Kimi :worship: Aaric Mar 29th, 2010, 03:08 PM Vika would be cool, but I think Kim will take it chloe-l Mar 29th, 2010, 03:10 PM Kim in two sets. Monzanator Mar 29th, 2010, 03:16 PM Don't have a fav here, cause I like them both. Hope it will be a good match though :) | |
