Sara is such a good little player.
She hits the ball harder than people think just seeing her on TV.

Keep it up Sara! This is a fantastic win :)

It's a shame. There is a lot of potential in Kleybanova, she has brilliant shotmaking ability. I wonder what it is that prevents her from being a top contender for major titles.

What famous delay?
The match got suspended at *5-3 for Kleybanova in the second set, due to darkness (there were problems with the lights on that court). They finished some hours later, on another court.

Obviously the delay didn't do Alisa well, while Sara handled it a lot better :)

Errani is slowly involving from a dull pusher into a feisty, proactive counterpuncher. A similar transition to what Peer has gone through over the past year.

Errani is slowly involving from a dull pusher into a feisty, proactive counterpuncher. A similar transition to what Peer has gone through over the past year.

I always classed Peer as an aggressive baseline grinder. It wasn't her tactical approach to the game that changed and led to her yo-yoing up and down the rankings for a couple of seasons, but rather her FH falling apart in early 2008 (it was always loopy, but it suddenly became unreliable, and leaked gross errors even on the most routine rally shots) and Peer taking some time to rebuild her ground game after that.

Errani's groundstrokes, particularly her woeful BH, seem to have improved somewhat this year.
