She is 23rd seed in Miami. She has a bye in first round and will play in second round against Shvedova or Tomljanovic (WC).

Good luck Sabine!

Well, actually a decent draw again, she lost to Shvedova in Peth, but she would be beatable for sure, Ajla is talented, but for sure also beatable, even Pennetta or Radwanska later, all are surely beatable for a good playing Sabine, but right now, I would be happy if she would win at least one round, and if she would stay healthy!

Draw is ok, I think. Shvedova can be tough depending on how she plays. I just hope Sabine is healthy and do decently :)

Shvedova beat Tomljanovic 67 76 75 and will now play against Sabine!
In Perth at the Hopman Cup Sabine lost to Shvedova, but Shvedova´s latest results weren´t really impressive, similar to Sabine´s, I think it will be interesting match, hopefully Sabine can win it! :)

Mainly I hope she's physically okay more than anything. Good luck against Shvedova.

Shvedova def. Lisicki 63 01 ret.
It seems like her ankle injury is more serious than expected, but with or without injury, she is just in a slump and that now even makes it worse!

seriously why can't she wait her ankle fully healed and play?

Sabine Retired Again :( 6-3 0-1
It seems she improved her first serve percentage. I think her ankle pain didn't allow her to play.
She lost lots of points :(
Anyway, she is my still favorite player, she will turn back to the courts with her real game!!

No chance that she will finish this year in the top 50.

Another German youngster who will fall down in the ranking. (Kochta, Begerow, Weingärtner, Lamade, Müller, Grönefeld and now Lisicki in the last 20 years).

:spit:
her first service percentage was at 43% :cuckoo:

Well, I guess she just tried it to play, as she just needs some points soon, probably played without moving at all, but that is not enough against Shvedova...

She needs to take her time and stop rushing back every time she gets injured. :(

Her percentage was OK if you compare with her last matches. She won 7 Aces. I know this can't be her statistics she deserves better but It's obvious she is having some problems.

wait wait wait, I never said that it wasnt obvious that she has problems, I can´t judge that anyway, as I didnt see the match, but saying "she improved her percentage on 1st serves" is definetly wrong :p

7 aces are great, 5 DF´s are weak, 43% 1st serves in were weak, I can´t say in what way she was handicapped bc of her injury sure :)

I misstate which I really mean. I tried to say, she won 7 aces and this gave me a hope for her because serves and aces are her best weapon. We were not able to see 7 aces on her last matches. This just give me a hope. :)

Like in Indian Wells I can only recap that her body obviously is not able to cope with what is necessary as a pro tennis player on a higher level that maybe ITF.

Kinda like Golovin. And she'll prolly go that way.

wasn´t Charleston the biggest win for Golovin too?

Amelia Island, the more traditional one of both Green Clay tournaments in the USA.

Sabine . Heal up, maybe she needs to do some work on the body so it is less injury prone- mixture of more strength/flexibility in the right muscles and joints and maybe getting a wee bit lighter could help too. I think players are always very keen to come back too and don't take enough time to recover from injuries, need to wait till the body is 100%, otherwise you just get injured again .

Sabine, please take a break
She needs to speak to Baghdatis. He always had injury problems. Then he'd come back and get injured again. And again. And again. Now he has no more problems :)
