I still remember her in her cute US OPEN cap. :awww: Hopefully she'll get a contract soon!

I don't understand why she doesn't have a contract with a smaller company (ie, not Adidas or Nike). Even if they gave her the bar minimum it's still better then nothing right?

She said, that she's not going to sign any old random contract.

Aga said this:

"After retreat of Prokom there's problem with young, polish players who still doesn't earn for themselves. Youth will have more difficult life, than I had when Mr Ryszard Krauze sponsored polish tennis. I have a lot of propositions but I am responsible. I won't sign random contracts."

She has a deal with Longines.

From 2009:

World No.12 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland has signed a sponsorship deal with Longines, the renowned Swiss watch manufacturer.

"It’s a privilege to be a Longines Ambassador of Elegance," said Radwanska, who has joined legendary tennis couple, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, in the family of Longines partners.

Longines is the official partner of Roland Garros, where Radwanska will be making her first international appearance as a Longines Ambassador of Elegance.

Maybe it was at the Aussie Open? I don't think she lasted too long this year. :rolls: I'm referring to the US Open where she claimed by undying love by upsetting Sharapova. :inlove:

maybe Aga join JaJa and Jie Jie as the face of Anta :spit: (not likely)

That is how it started for me as well... I couldn't say it better myself.

Free T.Shirts is the fair price
More than that is an overpayment

She said she doesn't like to be controlled by a clothing company. I think, maybe that was Bartoli .

IMO she and her sister should wear EleVen since they don't have sponsors  Nadia did that and got signed right after.

Bartoli said bnoo hoo- no clothes cos i am not pretty and blonde and have to buy my own even though a euro company said they woudl sponser me but then never returned my calls. She seems to be in the latest nike stuff though so maybe she is with them?
Given lacoste's full on expansion, thought they may have tried to get her, aybe they have?

Apparently the Rad-sisters don't have contracts because their father won't let them sign them.

They have enough $$ to pay for their travels and tour. They have freedoms about what they do and have less obligations.
But they don;t have the huge advertising push a company could give.

Win and Lose really.

Perhaps they just play tennis mainly for the money and not for fame like the other players?

You equate being a poster girl for, say, Adidas, with 'fame'?

What about playing for the pleasure of competing, for the thrill of winning and achieving something in one's life? Money is not all (especially for those who already have it...)

i´m sure her father want to much money, and to say stuff like "we want to be free and not controlled by a company" is just a lame excuse.
or do you expect him to say "i want to much money and so all companies stopped the talks about contracts"

This was what I thought.

I think Radwanska senior is waiting for both his daughters to become really good and famous, so they could market them as sisters and get more money. Something like that.

At least, Aga as a Top 10 player could buy some new stuff to wear. Her outfits are 2 + years old and really ugly. She should find some new ones....

I actually like the stuff she's wearing...

This is correct. Robert Radwanski wants to remain in full control of his daughters schedule, training and off-court activities and won't allow any major company spoil his copybook. Anything Aga says on the issue is like her father told her that in first place.

Isn't she allowed to wear Nike, Adidas outfits if she hadn't signed a contract with them? or it doesn't matter at all?
