These two met in the Australian Open 3RD and Caro womped Shahar 6-4, 6-0. :hysteric:
Shahar seems very motivated to do well here and make her first impression a strong one. In her first round, she got revenge over Wickmayer for Auckland SF. back to back round 1 loses for future GOAT, lulz.
Who will win this 3rd round rematch from Melbourne?
Shahar in 3 please.

I think Caro is a better player. They both have similar styles.
The key last time is that Caro won on her break point opportunities and Shahar didnt

This match has been scheduled for Court 1 at 12:00PM. The number 1 seed has been relegated to this court because of security concerns?

I love Shahar, but Caroline will win. Also, even though I'm glad Shahar is getting to play, and I thought it was unfair for her not to get to play last year, I do think it's important to respect the organizers' security concerns. The last thing anyone wants is for a player to get hurt, and it's easy for us to comment, but it's their actual responsibility and I think it's understandable that they are taking it seriously.

From what I read they wont let Shahar go anywhere except from the hotel to the courts and back.
She would probably be better off as 2 seed in Memphis

too bad this won't be televised   I think Shahar will give Caro a tough time, but Caro will win in 2 tough sets. The difference will be Caro will have more chances on Peer's serve
