Everyone is in love with Paris´ line referees:inlove::rolls:

Both shake referee´s hand, though there was million overrules / controversial calls in both sides:unsure:

I like Garbin´s slice backhand, it´s an Italian speciality:lol:

What did she say?

At the Oz she said she is happy to draw Garbin cos Tax is useless nowadays.

That's a bit exaggerated. She said she was lucky to draw a player who was out of form.

Well Azarenka pretty much proved that to be true. I have hardly seen worse attempts at anything. At times it was hard to differentiate between a Garbin dropshot and lob attempt. Not sure what it says about Vesnina though. Guess we score another one for the "WTF is wrong with you"-club.:lol:

Not really that much on form. She claims to suffer from shoulder and groin injuries.

But still, losing indoors from a 32yo, 57th-ranked clay court queen is pretty poor..

How does that old Benjamin Franklin saying go?

Nothing in Vesnina´s life is certain, except death by Tax´s. :tape:

i agree, no player worth their stripes should be losing to garbin. her slice can be laughabley bad at times, her drop shots sometimes bounce past the service line, her whole game is ok at best. you have to wonder what vesnina was doing in that final set handing point after point to garbin with forehand UE's.
