Come on. It was not exciting until the very last game from 00*-40. Apart from that mostly straight service games. Sure, quality was good, but match of the year must have excitement in nearly every ball played.

After a :o 2009 people seem to have low requirements for the match of the year.

Serena and Vika by far. No other two players have come close to matching such high quality in the same match.

It had everything. Great shot making, drama, fightback, attitude. Everything!

It will take two players a hell of a lot to top that match this year!

I'll actually go with AO 2ndR Henin - Lena, High quality tennis through out the match!

I didn't see Razzano-Schnyder so can't comment on it. Brisbane was over-rated I thought and the AO final was better than last year but not brilliant. Henin-Wickmayer or Serena-Azarenka so far in terms of quality. I liked the display that Kleybanova put on for a set an half but the match was too erratic from both players. Sharapova-Kirilenko was the most exciting match and there were some very good points from both, but again not nearly consisent enough quality-wise.
