Despite playing 3 times at Roland Garros, 4 times at Wimbledon and 9 times at the US Open. Beth has never featured in a singles MD match in Melbourne :eek:

2004: Lost 2nd Round Qualifying
2006: Lost 3rd Round Qualifying
2007: Lost 3rd Round Qualifying
2008: Lost 1st Round Qualifying
2010: Lost 3rd Round Qualifying

I was shocked to discover this!

The stat becomes more interesting if you mention that she was a direct entrant last year and did not play. One of the anomalies of this is that she gained points at the AO this year, as did Sharapova with a 1st rd loss.
