Shamil Tarpischev has a history of being unpredictable, and sometimes a genius in DC/FC  he has good recognition when to sub in/sub out his players.

Given that Kleybanova may be physically/mentally tired tomorrow, do you think she will still play against Ivanovic? Will Tarpischev put in Pavlyuchenkova or Dushevina? Certainly, game-wise Alisa stands the best chance of beating Ana, but given Ana's shaky form, a loss to Pavlyuchenkova or Dushevina is not out of the question.

I hope not, so that we see a chokefest/UE fest of absolutely epic proportions.

Ana beat Pavly in Brisbane and it would have been a pretty routine win bar the minichoke at the end of the second set from Ana. Dushevina wouldn't do good either I think. :( Ana's form has improved quite a bit still, she'd break Dushevina's forehand down. And Dushevina always chokes in important matches.

He really needed Zvonareva, even if just for 1 match.
If Sveta wins, I would play Anastasia, then Sveta and Alisa in doubles.
If Sveta loses, it doesn't matter who plays.

He could put in a boiled carrot and it would have a chance of beating Ana. :o

Best bet is still Kleybanova.

In this kind of form even a tired Kleybanova can beat Ana...so,doesn't matter really!

IŽd have Kleyabnova play 1 1/2 sets and then substitute or is that not allowed? :p

Another myth.

Anyway, it doesn't matter who plays Ivanovic on Sunday -- Ana isn't gonna lose her second match in a row in Belgrade, not against the likes of Kleybanova/Pavlyuchenkova at least.

I can see him putting in Pavs or Dushevina, making Ana the favorite and freaking her out.

AnaŽs playing totally messy..there is nothign in her game. reminds of Hantuchova in her bad times. One great shot, then three brainless stupid errors.

Ana is playing horribly, her game and ball toss are ridiculous
