I am excited to be back on Tour, and hope to continue the success I have had thus far in 2010. The fan support has been incredible, and I hope that I am able to claim my first title of the season at the BNP Paribas Open in March!

So now she starts talking about winning titles again. She was saying something completely different in Melbourne. All this blah blah blah talk about how much time it will take for her until she starts thinking about big titles. Serena is not there and she already thinks she is the favourite to win it. :o Bad bad drama queen.

She needs to get back in the rankings.
She just waived the right to be #1 when she retired.
She would have held it for months, if she didn't ask to be taken off the rankings

The last time she played was in 06. Before that was 04, and before that was 02 or 01.
Compared to Miami which she has played pretty much every year.

Maybe she will skip Miami this year.

I think she learned from Kim's comeback. Look at it this way-Kim played Cinci, Toronto and took the WC into the open. Got her ranking early sept and didn't have a mandatory to play the rest of 09. By skipping Paris and Dubai, she can take WC for IW, miss Miami and get direct entry for the tourneys 6 weeks after. Hmmm, right around mid may. So a decent run at IW will get her a seed at the french without having to play anything else.

I assume she is playing a couple of tournaments at a time then reevaluating where she's at and what to work on and so can do that in the time in between tournaments and also giving her time to recover both physically and mentally. If that's what she is doing then it's a great plan.

And the moderator is simply calling out a troll, though a bit more tact would have gone down better.

so far henin's 2010 schedule has been perfect. she played brisbane, which baring clijsters didn't have anyone who should beat her, she got the draw she wanted at the oz open, now she can play IW where without serena she will be at least 50/50 against any other top players there if not the fave.

Then Charleston, Stuttgart and Madrid. Maybe even Rome.

That u have no moral character goes w/out saying...and obviously since you lack the aforementioned character u don't understand that I didn't report him bcos I wanted him shaking in his boots. Rather it was done because I bleve we can argue opinion w/out calling each other names. (Ah and b4 you mention that I just called u moral less (word?) She wants to win IW like everyone who will play there - it's normal  I think players are playing tournaments because they want to win title - that's the main reason.

Adding a former champion, and one of the best women's players of all time, means that fans will again get to witness some of the finest tennis in the world.
