so India is the one fom Grp A...they have a very good chance of regaining the lost pride..i was really hurt when i saw India relegated to Div. 2 last year. but I also learnt that, India doesnt have any one else in Singles to bank upon,, other than Sania..

thank u Chirag..btw, where did u get the updates from? i dont see anything on the fedcup website..yet..

in Group B.. Hong Kong and Kyrgystan are the top 2 teams..winner of their tie will play India for Div 1 play off..

I don't know but just guess
since group B has one more match than group A, the worst match of both teams is eliminated(just like World Cup Qualifying Round), and so they both got same result and so other criteria, such as no. of sets won, are counted.

eeeyyyiipeee..!!!
that means India back in Division I from next year onwards..!!

I am actually pleasantly surprised that they gave Rushmi a chance in Singles..that's great..what's even more awesome is that she proved that age doesn't mean anything to her..she can still play great..!! Cheers for Rushmi specially,,,!!

anither surprise for me is that I had heard Ksenia Palkina's name in the challengers b4..i thought maybe she could put up some challenge for Sania..but she didn't..!! that also means when Sania jumps the gun, she drags you away..!!:worship:
