Note:
I didn't use the full head-to-heads like "7-5" but I used +2 and -2 instead. I know that this might be a bit misleading but if we want to compare them all by adding their "scores" this is inevitable.

So all in all:

Serena Williams
Venus Williams
Svetlana Kuznetsova
Jelena Jankovic
Dinara Safina
Na Li
Agnieszka Radwanska
Elena Dementieva
Caroline Wozniacki
Victoria Azarenka

I don't think this tells a lot. Many of the young players, such as Azarenka, Wozniacki and Radwanska, have to play the others while they are ranked highly and at the top of their game. Therefore the youngsters have a negative H2H when they make it to the top 10.

For example, Azarenka lost to Kuznetsova 3 times while being outside top 10, but once she entered, the H2H is 1-1. I think that's more telling

JJ's is pretty good :hearts: It'd probably be worse though if she could actually make it far enough to play a top 10 player :bigcry:

Nice to see that Wozniacki-Radwanska-Azarenka are 0-0-0 each other :)

Venus against Elena ... :tape:

Venus needs to beat that Li. :o Then she'd be + or 0 over all relevant players.

Serena.

Shame that Vika is last, but she has had to play much more top players than the woman above her.

I just realized only 3 of the current top 10 are slam champions.
Justine and Kim need to get back up there asap, I miss the days when half or more of the top 10 had slams.

Anyway, congrats to Serena and Venus, though not surprised at all. :)
BTW, trying to think of players Serena has a losing H2H?
A few records against other champions(all winning):
10-4 vs. Davenport
10-7 vs. Capriati
7-6 vs. Hingis
7-6 vs Henin
7-2 vs Clijsters

Since Vika's been in the top 10 her record against top 10 players is 6-8 which isn't too bad considering a lot of those matches on that chart took place when she wasn't even a top 15 player. She does have wins over just about all the regular top 10 players of the last couple of years apart from just Venus i think too.

2009 Cincinnati 7-5 6-4

The only one I can remember :)

(taking into account players who they've played MORE than just once)

Remarkably, Serena has a winning H2H against every current and former top 10 player she's ever played!!!! - with the exception of Arantxa S.Vicario. ASV and Sybille Bammer share the unique honor of being the only players with a winning H2H over Ree.

Equally remarkable is *Kim Clijsters H2H record- only two players on tour have a winning H2H record over her- Serena and Venus. And when you factor in retired players it's still only Serena and Venus that have managed to win more times against Kim than they've lost.

*regular tour level events (excluding ITF)

I agree. For example, Vika has beaten Serena, but she's also played her many more times than Caroline has, so Caroline comes ahead in having a better H2H than Serena, but that's not exactly true.

Yeah, she has beaten every top player at least once (except Li & Venus). But she hasn't played Venus since she reached the top 10.

She's never beaten Serena, Venus, Dinara, or JJ.
