Where to get cheap tickets?

I am planning my first trip to Roland Garros this year. I think i will fly from Cologne to Paris. This is pretty cheap.

Do you guys can give me information on tickets and cheap hotels/hostels in the area?
I am planning to land in Paris on the first Thursday morning.
We want to have ground tickets for Thursday and Friday and maybe Suzanne Lenglen tickets for saturday and Centre court tickets for sunday.

My coach said to just go there and buy tickets there on the street. And if it's afternoon ask leaving people from the centre court to give their tickets to me:lol: pretty harsh but he said this.

You can get some tickets online via the official website, although when I last checked there weren't many left for the main courts (only one day for Philippe Chatrier/Suzanne Lenglen and two days for Court 1, all in the first week). Plenty of ground passes available, although you should be able to get them easily on the day.

And when I went back in 2007, people do ask you for your main court(s) tickets on the way out :lol: Makes sense, otherwise they're just resold to someone else.
