Will the IW-Miami Mandatory affect the Belgians? [Archive]

When the Belgians retired, Indian Wells was not mandatory. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see if either had consistently played the events back to back. According to the numbers, Justine would be ripe for an upset.

Clijsters-IW-2000-2005, 21-4, 2 titles
Clijsters-Miami-2000-2003, 2005-2007, 20-6, 1 title
Henin-IW-2001-2002, 2004, 2006, 13-3, 1 title
Henin-Miami-2001-2003, 2005-2008, 15-7, 0 titles

Summing up, Clisters has played both 5 times, last in 2005, Henin 3 times, last in 2006, before that in 2002. Hopefully they both hold up.

It could very well be, but I just hope that especially Justine will not have these like breathing problems/astma, I was kind of scared the way she looked during the Australian Open final, like soo tired, and if she doesn't take enough rest it could be harmfull to her health.
But all in all I think every tennisfan can say that Clijsters and Henin have prooved themselves over and over again, whether they are ranked or unranked, talent and experience never go away!
