has forgotten about Sydney seeing as though most of the top women are there.

All they really care about is mens tennis. :weirdo: :fiery:

They only ever show Centre Court, and there aren't any womens matches on till the afternoon. It kind of makes sence today that they will show the better mens players in Kooyong (even though its an exo)...rather than the average men players in Sydney.

They will probably prove me wrong tomorrow by showing Kooyong over a good WTA match though :p

They always show kooyong. They are going to sydney to watch the hewitt match and will probably cut of the womens match on after half way through.

Remember Eurosport is showing the Sydney International as well. Today they showed Sydney live from 3:30pm(NSW time). Then stopped at the end of the day session, then crossed back for the night session, which they also showed live (then 7 show on delay). I havn't seen match of Eurosports coverage, but I've never seen them show any mens matches. They might only have rights to the womens.

Don't worry if they do. Eurosport is showing the womens semis live tomorrow.

I have seen lots of women matches on 7, but what rubs me the wrong way is when they show the coaches talking to their player, I think it's not ethical and it should be private.
I wanted to start a new thread on this but somehow I'm not allowed to!

You need 100 posts to be able to start threads. ;)

If one wasn't Australian, one might be asking why so many Australians are featured on Centre Court (and hence on television)!

Fans of women's tennis actually get a pretty good deal at the Medibank, as Friday Qualifying is just women and Centre Court on Sunday is just women.

"but what rubs me the wrong way is when they show the coaches talking to their player, I think it's not ethical and it should be private."

Perhaps one should ask some of the male coaches why they berate their players in public - there was one standing up on Saturday (I think) speaking sternly to a player who was sitting on a bench outside centre court. The player was obviously upset at losing and wasn't engaging with her coach. And this type of behaviour has happened before.
