Kiri will only play doubles.Her partner will be Dinara Safina and they're going to play Cara Black and Liezel Huber.It'll be a difficult first round but remember, the only time kiri played doubles with dinara, they won against henin and clijsters.

She played fairly good, It was Safina who let them down. Black and Huber targeted Maria a lot though she found it hard to keep up towards the end where as Safina would just belt the ball out every time she got a look in. Gorgeous volleys from Maria during the match as expected she really handles herself well at net.
