Well, i have some information about Flipper. Seemingly she wont play the first week but she is in the Q-list of Hobart. :)

Hobart is good. But I wish she was in Auckland as well.

And of course after the Australian Open she will play Fed Cup in Poland ;)

Fed Cup and she is on the alternates list for the tournament of Paris. She cannot play qualies because that in the weekend of the fed cup ;)

Hey Sam, welcome :wavey: It's a rarity to see Flipper play outside of grand slams, you've got to know where she is and then hope there's a live stream, which there usually isn't for ITF. I'm sure we'll see more of her as she moves up the rankings. I usually post a link, if I find one, otherwise we rely on each other for results and info. If you find a link first, post it here. :)

I thought that Kirsten´s gonna play some more WTA tourneys this year, at least the qualies... Do you have any infos already what ITF events she´ll enter?

Personally, I don't know where she's going to be until she pops up somewhere because she doesn't publish her schedule. It would be great if she did, especially when she pops up in my neighbourhood; with a bit of notice, I can be there to support her. As for WTA, she should be playing more because she's more than good enough, but again, I don't have the schedule infront of me. I'm sure our other friends on this forum have abit more info.

Dorien says she's going to Dubai and Dorien is usually right about these things. The highest ranking player who has direct acceptence into the tournament is Olga Govortsova ranked 55. Kirsten is at 81 this week, so I'm guessing she'll need to qualify for the main event. That's the logic I'm following.

Of course, I could be completely wrong about the Dubai thing; she could be hiding in the cupboard waiting to jump out and scare us all....
