Controversial match  Serena was booed by the Moscow crowd cos they thought her walkover against Venus was a 'family decision' and now Serena says she'll never play here again :hysteric: Well done Flavia for keeping your composure
Marion was a little tired cos she only played her qualie match about a half an hour ago and Kim with 3 aces was always gonna be a tough task  KC :yeah:
I have a feeling Misa could go undefeated indoors this season :o Good effort in the first Nastya

You don't need any luck because the "extra" ace will help you for sure.
No surprise you'll win.:ras:
Anyway, I'll be off to bed in about 20 minutes.
And since both of us are here now, let's finish it as soon as possible?

Yeah, it's very obvious Dav rigs the POTW for you just to win a title.
Let's see if I lose the final, will Dav let me become the next POTW, just like what you experienced last week for reaching final with 3 aces, just to prove my above statement.
Anyway, most probably he will give to Alicia or Maria instead since either of them has less aces than me.
Marion was a little tired cos she only played her qualie match about a half an hour ago and Kim with 3 aces was always gonna be a tough task  KC :yeah:

Don't you ever get tired of saying the same old crap before every match? :weirdo:
Who else should I have given POTW this week? Serena for winning a set? Jankovic for getting two walkovers? I'd genuinely like to hear your response :)

Dani won a few close matches against good players, she deserved it, I've given 3-acers the POTW before, because they've earned it.
So Misa wins again  Now she can start bitching about Quebec :o So sorry Dani  The whole world was rooting for you  Good news is you should be safe for the YEC now :yeah:

Krajicek Wins in Moscow, Completes Surface Sweep

Krajicek reacts after winning the title
ATC #4 Michaella Krajicek becomes the second player in the tour ever to complete a surface sweep on indoors after defeating Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia for the second straight event in Moscow. Krajicek won Quebec City back in Season 2 and the Madrid Year-End-Championships last season. This is the Dutchwoman's third title in 4 finals this season.
Despite the event was facing a huge issue in which many players have withdrawn from the event after a long season, the tournament was still successfully held. There's also a small controversy happening during the tournament which was then solved after the tournament director's smart handling.
Krajicek arrived at the Kremlin Cup fresh from winning Antwerp in Belgium just last week. After a walkover victory over Wimbledon finalist Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic, Krajicek met former Roland Garros winner and the now wasted Anastasia Myskina in the quarterfinals. Myskina upset the Wimbledon champion in their last encounter at the US Open recently in 3 sets but Krajicek showed that she has recovered from the slump after a horrible hardcourt season and beat the former tournament winner in straight sets 7-6(4), 6-2, sending a message to her opponent she's not playing when she's in the business. Their head-to-head is now levelled at 2-2.
The 4th ranked Dutchwoman then faced another familiar opponent, who is none other than ATC #2 Maria Sharapova. Sharapova said before the match that she would try her best to play even though Krajicek has all her numbers. Despite valiant effort from the Russian, she knew at the end she still could not avoid becoming Krajicek's turkey after Krajicek demolished the two-time reigning US Open winner 6-3, 6-1 in just over an hour, improving the head-to-head to an astonishing 11-1.
There's no surprise in the final as Slovakian Hantuchova awaited her in the final after she also cruised past #1 Alicia Molik in the other semifinals. Hantuchova had improved her game on indoors for the past couple of weeks and was actually tipped the hot favourite to win the her first title in the capital of Russia. Hantuchova started strongly again but Krajicek showed her prowess in the second set, winning comfortably before carrying her momentum in the third set. Hantuchova was able to fight and level the match at 4 all. Eventually Krajicek was crowned the new Kremlin Cup winner after winning the decisive last point which ended with an amazing 47 rallies from both sides.
"I actually never expected to win again this time since I was rather mentally tired after my last week's win but I tried my best to play and did not even expect that last point to be that important for me, especially with the crowd was all rooting for her. I feel sympathized for Daniela as she has been playing fabulous tennis for the past couple of weeks and was due for her first title but unluckily she faced me in the final. Anyway, I have proven myself yet again for making another back-to-back victory even though I haven't been playing well in the past 2 seasons. Plus, there was this small controversy about the tournament's scheduling in which I had made some silly comments towards the tournament director about it but everything's all well now and I am sorry for all the trouble and hope he will accept my apology. Now I just hope I can continue my good form into Quebec City next week or else I would have a nice rest before heading to Madrid after that." With this win, she now returns to #2 in the tour and now places third in the singles race to Madrid.

Dani in ATC is like the Dani of WTA Tour. :sobbing:  Not reaching her potential and never winning titles. :o
We need an event in Indian Wells. Please! :o
Anyways, on the bright side if Dani has solidified her place in the YEC, it's a great week. :yeah: Plus beating some good players quite easily is nice too. :bounce: On to Quebec. :bounce:
