Yes a tough draw ahead of her but she plays a lot better against those players lately - cast your mind back to the U.S Open where we all know she should have been in the final.

The only reason she didn't make more finals this year was cause the William's were standing in her way. But now that she doesn't have to worry about them I think she can do it if she sets her mind to it!!!!!!!

Mauresmo pulls out of Swisscom Challenge with sore knee

ZURICH, Switzerland (AP) -- World No. 4 Amelie Mauresmo pulled out of the Swisscom Challenge with a sore knee Thursday.

Cartilage in a knee was inflamed, a chronic problem that recurs when Mauresmo is tired, said her coach Loic Courteau. He said she also had a stiff neck.

The third-seeded Frenchwoman had received a first-round bye and was to play her first match Thursday against Patty Schnyder.

Mauresmo reached the semifinals at the U.S. Open and Wimbledon this year, and Courteau said she did not want to endanger her chances of competing in the season-ending WTA Championships starting Nov. 4 in Los Angeles.

Well let's all hope she gets better soon!
It's a real shame she had to withdraw but if its for the best longterm then it'll be worth it.
