I really hope Lisa wins it.
She's running out of chances at this point.
Every year I check the Australian Open mixed doubles draws and pray that Lisa can finally do it.
Every year I'm dissapointed to find her losing

If she's got to beg a Bryan brother to make it happen then so be it.
Hopefully with her in better shape, she doesn't have to go that route.

Mirza / Bhupathi vs Gullickson / Tomic
Groenefeld / Kas vs Peers / Luczak
Huber / Hutchins vs Chuang / Polasek

I actually think it's their best chance to win a slam this year. And if they have to beat the WS, clay is surely going to be the best surface for it.

Now Stubbs can win RG, have a sex transplant and compete in the mixed with Venus at Wimbledon - and win. Then Venus wins USO with whoever.

Black, Stubbs and Vee all with the Mixed Grand Slam :hearts:

It's weird that Venus won the mixed at the two slams she's worst at.

No. It's weird she hasn't won the 2 slams she is good on, not the opposite.
1998 Australian Open was her first time in the Aussie Open and she played all 3 events: QFs of the singles, nearly beating Davenport, R16 of Doubles and won the Mixed. Venus never lost before the QFs of the Aussie Open until 2004, so not weird she won the Mixed. As for RG, 1998 made the Singles QF and won the Mixed event without losing a set. Venus won both in her early career. Once again, it's weird she hasn't won at her best slams, not the opposite.

Venus is the only one left with a chance to also complete it this year.

Any word on if Venus will plan on playing mixed? It would be exciting.

Most likely no. I highly doubt she is going to play all 3 events.
