Nice match here between these two - Davenport's hard hitting versus Schnyder's crafty angles and spin. It was a really tight first set but Davenport managed to break through at 6-5 up with some stunning return winners off the Schnyder serve. She rebounded well after a disappointing second set by absolutely crusiing through the decider, to claim her second title of the season. After a little while outside the Top 10, Davenport rebounds to #7. Schnyder remains at #5 but closing the gap on Chakvetadze at #4.
