doubles with Stubbs- according to The Age (Aust paper) today.
Funny thing is she said that at the end of 08 in regards to breaking up with Raymond (and said she would play when she wanted to with Stubbs & they obviulsy did well enough to play at the championships

So, from reading it, looks like Stubbs will play on next year. Wonder who with?

I wonder if Vivi will play on next year? I read an article saying she was going toretire at the end of 08 but loved tennis too much. So retirement thoughts are obviously there.

If she did, doubt AMG and Stubbs would join.
Sounds like Black Huber are together again as Auckland tounie saying he has signed them up.
Although they had a great 2002 togtether, not sure is MJM Sanchez and MEdina would get bakc togtehr- given Llagostera and MJMS has an awesome year. Does anyone know if AMGa nd MJMS still get along?

Maybe Medina Flavia?

Wonder if rayomd will play on? I'd say so? Not sure where PEshke is at though?

I guess we will find out when 2010 comes around!

She should concentrate on not being such a hack.

Raymond/Stubbs would be good. Both are on the corner of retirement, but not quite there yet.

I think if VRP retires, AMG will play with CSN, like in Luxembourg.

I hope Peschke keeps playing :awww: maybe with Hantuchova now that Ai is gone :).

I wonder who our staple top doubles teams will be in a few years, they are all rather old in terms of tennis age.

Surely you jest! Martina N played till 47, these girls are still spring chickens, age matters in tennis, the older you are,the better doubles you play. Even Venus and serena are expereincing more succcess now than they ever did.

I'd rather ignore you, but you're such a troll - hanging around stosur threads to bash. Stay out of these threads, Mr Irrelevant. Thanks.

Back on topic, I think she's done really well this year with Stubbsy to make it to the championships in their first year partnering. Honestly, I don't really mind who she plays with next year, as long as she focuses on her singles and breaking into the top 10. :)

^Isn't Lisicki just out of her teens?(like 1 month ago) She's been to a grandslam quarter too and has a title. I like Sam and appreciate her prowess in both disciplines of tennis, but before a few days ago she had no titles and before this year she had never been to a quarter of a slam and was a disappointment as a singles player with the talent she possesses. I think many are happy to see Sam finally put it all together and show what she is capable of on the tour. I'm not a Lisicki fan, but you can't trash a girl that as a teen had risen from about 130 to top 25 in a little over a year.

So its ok to trash Sam, who has worked very hard to be in the top 15 after a life-threatening disease but not Sabine despite the fact she is the ultimate UE queen and 'hacks' at the ball?

Nice logic :weirdo:

Just to clarify... I love Lisicki. I'm simply pointing out (or agreeing with the Kaz) the irony and double standards of someone trashing Stosur as a 'hacker' when he's a fan of a power-hitter/ballbasher like Lisicki (who also has a good serve like Stosur).

Agree with this too...I actually don't mind Lisicki either. :secret: But I like Sammy more...

Did I defend any trashing of Sam? Nice reading. Just pointing out that the "trashing" of Sabine didn't exactly make sense. Where did I minimize the efforts of Sam to battle back form Limes Disease? You really are taking out your frustrations on the wrong people here. If you have an issue with Delicate than fine, but the argument of Sabine being the same as Sam isn't really true. Even with the year that Sam lost battling her illness the 2 players being 5 years apart in age and having similar accomplishments in singles doesn't make your point. Both women have worked very hard to be top 30 and even though Sam's hardships have been much greater they have both had their physical struggles over the years.

OK, thanks for the clarification. As well as your civility in doing so. :)

She'll still play doubles with Stubbs, she said the same last year and still played lots of doubles. She'll fail in the Aussie summer and use doubles to 'help her game'

i don't really think you're in any position to be criticising stosur when your signature says 'save the tour stop the pusher' just under 'Agnieszka Radwanska' in your player list

Lisicki isn't a hack. She's only 20 years old and has accomplished a lot this season. She's got a huge game and when she's on she can beat anybody in the world.

Stosur shanks balls left, right, and everywhere. She lost to Vania King at the US Open and she wasn't even playing badly.

That's because Radwanska isn't a pusher. Hello. Sit down.
