She should start up her own tour where grass is the only surface. She would so be in the top three for that.

To answer your question, I'd say that there is a good chance that next year will be her last. But, she may just enjoy tennis too much to give it up. I really don't know, but I'd say in the next couple of years definitely.

As long as she gets to play Safina at the Ordina Open she should play forever :worship:

agreed. finish at the olympics and she gets a nice long grass season (i know it's only a week longer but that's a 25% increase!)

Outside of the 1-month grass season, TT is barely Top 300 player.

Without a big performance in the '010 grass season, she won't be even be able to enter tournaments. So it depends, does she rack up a big point total again next June? If yes, she continues to '011, if no, then she's done.

Even Kimiko can come out at the age of almost 40, I think Tammy would love to play some tournies in Asia and also her always faourite grass tournies.

Maybe 2012 Olympics is the best way to end her career.

But Kimiko is very well prepared physically while Tammy is clearly getting worse and worse fitnesswise every year. Looking at Kimiko you'd think she's a young girl who can run everything down, but Tammy can't. Even on grass, she just lets the tough balls sometimes to preserve energy (pretty smart imo ;)). I don't really expect Tammy to play much longer. :awww: Maybe like a semi-full schedule till 2011 wimby and then grass season + olympics in '12.
