With Timea I don't think it is, but if it was Wickmayer vs. Lisicki then that would have definitely been a much more impressive Final than Schiavone vs. Govortsova.

Sabine should be able to win this
But you never know, Lisicki can be really weird sometimes, I just hope a bit that Timea will be a bit too nervous tomorrow as she will have the chance to win her first title....

The Luxembourg entire tournament is better. How can you enjoy a tournamnent that has matches featuring 200 fans at a match. Maybe the Klaybanova match had close to 2,000, but so what. At Luxenbourg they came every day and they only have 500,000 that live in their country. I guess in Russia all the men are out there playing chess. A tournament that pays $157,000 to the winner and $83,000 to the loser with empty seats left and right. Meanwhile if Sabine wins tomorrow she receives a measly $37,000, but if she loses she earns $19,000. It must be the Russian oil companies behind the big prize, lol. :wavey:

Sabine already looks gased, but that's because she wants to play power tennis on mostly every play. She has to mix up her game more so she does not tire so easily.

One trend I picked up today that Sabine could use on Bacsinszky is how Bacsinszky seemed to pretty much know which corner Wickmayer was going to hit the ball to on her returns. Don't show Bacsinszky the same trend on hitting to the corner when you move left or right. Keep her guessing, hit behind her as much as possible. I would serve a lot of my shots right into her gut. Sabine, Please don't let me down. Finish the job! :wavey: :)

I'm also very pleased with this final! I'm going to watch it for sure. It would be just awesome if Timea could win her first title :hearts::hearts: But I'm also happy if Sabine wins, I like her very much and it would definitely be great for Bali if there would be a player like her. So I'm really happy anyway, doesn't matter about the outcome.

As for the match, it depends a lot on Lisicki. If she's fit she will win for sure and it could be easy like 62 63 or something. If she's on error mode, it will depend on Timea. If she brings her A-Game, she could win, otherwise Lisicki could pull trough in 3 sets.

Come on T!!! :hearts:

It would amazing if Timea could win her 1st title here.
I won't be upset if Sabine wins though, I like her too and it would be great to see her qualify for Bali...sad Timea wasn't ranked a bit higher, she could have a chance to qualify as well.

Lisicki being on error mode should be a given. The question is whether she can double her number of winners with unforced errors and still win. ;)

Ever since Wimbledon, where she actually had some matches with more winners than unforced errors, she has played very poorly. I'm not sure if this is still related to her shoulder injury and her serve adjustment thereafter, but she just can't keep playing as erratic as she does at the moment. I guess it's a testimony to her talent and/or fighting spirit that she still manages to beat decent opposition with so many errors.
