I'm trying hard not to get too excited about this tournament because usually Sveta never does well here (hell,she has not won a match in this competition since 2006 :tape: ) but because it's the last tournament of the year where we'll see Sveta,I can't help to feel very excited and wanting her to progress as much as possible.

well I think she can do it all. she has some good chanches for venus and elena and if you win 2 matches I believe you are through to the next round.

yeah Venus has not been brilliant lately,as for Elena,Sveta defeated her in their match in Stuttgart this year and it's the last player Sveta scored a win at YEC in 2006,I hope she can repeat that.

Well for me all the strongest players are in the same group and sadly it is the group where Sveta is in.
This are the kind of players who have always a good form on important moments, no matter what there form was before.

Sveta has to prove herself majorly now. But, if she can get past the round-robin stage, her semi-final match against whoever comes out of the other group will be a breeze :D

i dont know how they managed those groups (:o), but i actually think svetas group will be the most straightforward (whether thats a good thing or not i dont know). just hoping for some good tennis now.:D

the more I think about it,the less I don't get how they made the groups so unbalanced :help: I have to laugh because she always has the worst luck at YEC :spit:

Oh good,I like this tournament because all matchs are at a normal time and I can watch.What I don't like is that she has to face Serena first,imo the most difficult match for Sveta because Serena is the stronger player in the group.Oh well,I'm just happy to have her back and to know that at least we'll see 3 matchs of her :D As for the match against Serena,I hope even if she doesn't win it (which will be difficult,let's be honest) at least she puts a good fight.Hopefully it will be a big battle and good quality match as most of her meetings with Serena.

well I think its good to have serena first. sveta has a hard time getting into a tournament so if you have the hardest first to get in the tournament it means she is more in shape to do the easier ones.
