yeah it has to do with number of sets and games won and lost,I think Venus has more.

Anyway I'm happy Sveta managed to win a match at YEC after 3 years.This would have been unfair that she went 0-3 again specially this year when she's one of the best players,but was unlucky,very unlucky with the draw.

Sveta was just on eurosport in that interview show with Barbara Schett and some other woman.She looked happy and relaxed.She was asked what she'll do on holidays and said go back to Europe,visit friends and go shopping,then she was asked about all retirements in this tournament and said the game has become much more physical in the last years,physical part is very important now and it's important to be well prepared to avaoid injuries.She also said to go higher she needs to be more consistent mentally.

I watched the end of the match but did not see her,but I have to say the quality of the game was not good.Why couldn't Venus play like this in her match vs Sveta? :banghead:

Sveta did really finish close in numbers to Venus.She missed the semifinals by very little.Overall I think she can be happy with her YEC,it's the best one I can remember from her,too bad she had the 2 stronger players in her group but even against them Sveta had chances,she couldn't take it,but hopefully next time.She's close to them,Sveta is a dangerous player for them,that's probably why both sisters had to bring their best game to defeat her.
