I prefer watching Yanina,Sabine Lisicki,Kvitova,Klaybanova,Pav,Shvedova and Hercog more than Caroline Wozniacki, Azarenka or Zvonereva. :) :wavey:

The only top-10 player I prefer to watch over non top-10 is Dementieva.
With or without bangs.

Virtually all my favourite players are ranked outside the top 10, most are ranked outside the top 50. When a player I really like makes the top 50 I am very pleased. :)

Your a person with patience rooting for Rybarikova, who seems to have a lot of fans on this board along with Dulgheru. :)

Na Goat, at least if Caroline is playing, you know it's a good time for a nap. If Zvonereva is playing and you decide to nap with the TV on, Vera Z might wake you up arguing a call. :)

It sounds like you will enjoy the 2010 WTA season. Their will be some big surprises in 2010 to some people, but not to me. :)

Beeing in the top 10 donīt make a person necessary more interesting.

That is my point. If Sabine Lisicki or Sharapova win Indian Wells next season, that will make my 2010 tennis season, but I don't care where they rank the entire season.

Lisicki

Lisicki

I expect Lisicki to be one of the very best tennis players in the world in the near future. Once she cleans out those Double Faults, she can go as far as she wants to go. She has a complete offensive game and plays excellent defense. Go Sabine and Sharapova.

I always prefer to watch non-top 10 players :yeah: Good thing considering all my favorite players are ranked well outside top 10  ;)

We all see the top players on TV coverage, so it's nice to see different players - especially when you attend a tournament - that you usually wouldn't see on TV :)

Sometimes when I attend a match I find myself saying that player is taller than what it says on the internet. Lisicki is listed at 5ft 10", but I would say she is at least 5ft 11" or more.

Safarova.

If she would only be more selective on hitting winners. She has all the talent in the world.

I don`t really care. I saw many good matches between top10 players or non top 10 ones.
I only don`t want to see Venus - Serena match, because it`s rarely a good one.

i much prefer watching playrs outside the top 10, im not a huge fan of many top 10's, Dementieva is my fave top 10 player, apart from her im not too fussed about the others! I like up and coming players more like Wickmayer, Lisicki, Pavlyachenkova, Oudin, Cirstea

I dunno, where are Aravane and Tamira these days???

Besides JJ, the only players around the top ten I enjoy watching these days are Marion, Flavia, Maria and Kim. And I guess Ana doesn't even qualify as being close anymore.

we all know which non top-10 players are worth a watch, and when two of them collide, I will make sure to watch with the anticipation of two top-10 players meeting. Aside from that, Francy is always a priority over ANYONE else, but then again, I include her in the first part of this post

You will be pleasantly surprised in the year 2010 as the WTA will be much stronger. :)

You and I need to have a long, long, long talk about the meaning of the phrase "famous last words" and how they apply to tall, attractive blond tennis players, with or without bangs.

I'm only saying this for your own good.

When I attend the Stanford tournament, I consider the qualifying rounds to be much more interesting than even the semis and final. First of all, there's no charge for admission. Secondly, most of those players have triple-digit rankings, so getting into the main draw IS the prize for them. You almost always see some hotly-contested matches at the qualies.

Yes, almost every time Kuznetsova is playing as the chances are she's going to play an absolute stinker of a match. There's no other top player who plays as horribly as often as she does.
