Moscow, she will have 3620 points- more than VZ, AR and JJ and will head to Doha.(if they lose early, for arguments sake)...but the WTA says nup,only out of VZ, AR and JJ.
What am I missing?

What am I missing?

Flavia has 120 points as her 16th best, so she can only reach 3500p

Out of interest, do you know what Jelena, Vera and Aga's 16th best is then? :)

Hmmmmm........interesting. If my maths are correct I see the potential for a tie for the final spot in qualifying taking place. If Jankovic does not reach the final and Radwanska wins the tournament, defeating Zvonareva in the semifinals unless I am mistaken (which would hardly be impossible :lol: ) both Radwanska and Zvonareva would finish tied for eighth place in the rankings with the exact same amount of points, namely 3690. :eek:

What would happen then? :help:

If i remember correctly, the person who has played more tournaments will be ranked higher. Not sure though, TBE knows it though.

The problem doesn't stand, as Flavia WILL NOT win Moscow :p

Its not about Flavia to win, but Aga to win. But I also doubt Aga can win...

There may be a rule, i don't think they will play a match to decide who goto Doha.

1. The player with the most combined total points from Grand Slams, Premier Mandatory Tournaments, Premier 5
Tournaments and the Sony Ericsson Championships;

SEC, you can discount that as that will be 0

There was a tie between Daniela and Maria in 2007.
Hantuchova went to Madrid because she played more tournaments.
Still, Sharapova reached the final because Venus didn't play YEC that year.

Likely Vera as she has YEC F points... But she is/was injured...

But see MashaK beat Aga, and we won't see this happen! ;)
