Well that's true, maybe that Tournament could help her to get some confidence back and finish the season in an nice way. But same goes for Dulko and Pavlyuchenkova.

well she had very little choice, shes been injured since the us open. shes fit again now but with only one week of regular WTA tournaments left. shes in the maindraw of moscow so it makes sense she play more than just that 1 tournament before the years out.

Yeah, but it's strange to see in 2007 she made the SF's of the YEC and now she's playing ITF's. I think we both don't have it easy wiht our Faves (for me Agnes and Nicole ). Hopefully Anna can do well there, I think she just really needs a big confidence boost and maybe a ITF win with such an entry list could do wonders...

It is a little bit strange but imo Anna is making a really smart decision by going down to the ITF's.

She's just coming back from injury and like you said it'd be good for her confidence if she can get in a few matches in here and at Moscow. I wish other players who are struggling with their form could make the decision to go down to ITF's as well.

Go Anna! :bounce:

oh yeah don't get me wrong it's bitter swet, im glad anna is finishing off the year with a feew tournaments and if she does well at the ITF it will only do her good. but obviously it pains me to see such a talented player in an ITF maindraw, but alas life is and im confident chak wants to fight her way through things.

WTA Tour wanted to reform the schedule of the tournanemnts so they elimited Tier 4. As a result, ITF 100K just become the new Tier 4, that's all.

I hope Dokic wins.
