Maria has never won a match at the Kremlin cup, she always had really bad draws,so i hope it will change this year(Radwanska, Schiavone and twice Zvonareva).

Hopefully she remembers how she beat her last time. Aggressive tennis. But Aga is in much better form right now and Kiri.. well depends on her knee and the pressure of playing at home. But I guess Aga might be tired esp if she ends up making the final in Linz.

Aggressiveness is the key to playing well against Aga, as Petra showed today, of course without making too many errors as well, but I don't think Kiri is really very error prone anyway. It will be tough though, Aga is a very good defender and retriever, and just makes so few errors.

Aga might be tired right now, but in a day or so she will probably feel fresher :shrug:.

She really deserved to win, she played really well and aggressive. I'm surprised by her serve which was really efficient today with some aces and easy shots after some 1st serves.She went to the net quite often and showed how talented she is with her volleys and dropshots.

I don’t see any trouble with Adidas as I knew that my contract is expiring after the US Open. But after the US Open I maintain our cooperation with them. We had a shooting session with David Beckham together. So I was moved to another division. And I would even say that it is better than was. We had a fruitful partnership with Adidas. They support me and I am not upset at all.

Sometimes in the past Maria has played challenger circuit tournaments after all the wta tournaments were over. Will Maria do that again this year?

When they're on tv I try to watch them but they're not on that often. I've found watching tennis online to be not a very enjoyable experience as it's too hard to see the ball. :(

Schiavone played a really good match and Maria couldn't do more. She tried to be aggressive or come to the net but Fran always found a solution with her variety.I'm not disappointed at all because Maria didn't play that bad and hit some good shots but it wasn't enough today.

I'm very happy about her tournament, she can be satisfied as well cos she finally won a match there (and even 2)and beat 2 good players. I hope that it will give her confidence for next year. If she keeps playing aggressively and with this attitude, she'll come back at an interesting level and will be back in the top 30.It was nice to see her smile or applause Fran during the match...but no more singles matches till next year :sad:

Congrats to Makiri on finally winning a title. :clap2: I`m so happy for her that she finally got over the hump after so many losses in the finals this year. This is a great way for Makiri to end what has been a tough year for her. Hopefully she can build off of this title win early next year.
