Nice for Shuai to end the week with a title. Premier 5 in Rome earlier and a Mandatory in Beijing are nice accomplishments for them.

;)

No :p Shuai isn't playing Moscow anyway. Osaka is MM tournament, that's not worth enough pts.

that's unfair, thay just didn't play well in WC and UO and can not make the YEC......

You definitely need to play well in all Slams to have a shot at the YEC :o One 1r and one 2r exit = FAIL.

Also, Su-Wei and Shuai played 4 fewer tournaments than Samantha and Rennae, and 8 fewer tournaments than Nuria and Mariajo :p

There is nothing unfair about it, they need to play more tournaments (although, remember, Su-Wei was injured for a while this year after AO) and be more consistent.

Hopefully they can make it next year :bounce:

actually they had words with each other during the UO and decided not to play together again.....

At least they have the $266,000 prize as consolation.

Outside of the slams, is there any other tourney that pays this well for doubles?

shuai said they would not participate in the YEC......

Happy about all of that. Shushu. Su-Wei. Alla. Ekat. The photos. The stuffed dolls. The humongous trophy.

What happened to Shuai and Tiantian? I never see her any more. :tears:

That pairing was pretty much only for the Olympics.

Exactly. Stubbs hasn't won any title in the last 20 months and has lost in her opening match in 7 tournamens in that time. Still, she had a reasonably good showing at the Slams and qualified for Doha in 2008 & 2009

On the other hand, you have to do something else aside from the Slams.
Vivibel won Roland Garros and played semis in Wimbledon, but her best result apart from that was the final at MM Marbella tournament :help:
