Oh no Amelie  Don't retire you too

Frenchwoman AmÚlie Mauresmo has announced today on her official website that she had withdrawn from Tokyo, Beijing, Linz & Luxembourg because she "did not want to fly accross the world and play again anymore this year". She added that she "did not want to rush to take any kind of decision", but that the "word "retirement" is coming more and more often to her mind", said the player who won her last title at home, Paris Indoors Gaz de France Suez, in 2009.

Marat v. Rafa is at 7 pm Beijing time. Which means that it's at 7 am my time :woohoo:

from Marat's presser

"I have nothing to lose," he said. "Nadal is going to be the favorite. I have no pressure at all to defend any points or anything. I'm just going to play my game, go for it, be aggressive and then we'll see. It's going to be my biggest match in a long time, so I'm pretty excited."

I really hope that they both play well since I love them both.

I really hope so too ! I have a good feeling for Marat ! I adore Rafa but Marat is Marat :p

It's awesome though that they get to play each other a second time before Marat retire ! It's a shame that we never got much Marat/Rafa matches !

Seriously right now i want Aga to win ! I don't want to go to my brother's place too late , i hate taking the subway when people leave work/school and i hate going to his place after 8pm , it's not really a safe place , in one month there was three murders around the Metro station and cars on fire right down my brother's appartment  But well i'm kind of used to those things living where i live

So yeah if i could leave around 4/5pm that would be awesome , any other scenario would just piss me off :o

It's too expensive elsewhere :p i live in a dangerous area too , i should take a picture of the window in my parents room , there's a hole in hit caused by a bullet  We live on the 6th floor and one night years ago there was a fight outside my brother was 16 at the time and out so my father was watching if he saw him but one thing sure one guy from another town saw my father and decided to shoot him but thank god my mother pulled him away from the window :p

I have many story like that , i almost got shot twice  But now it's more calm over here !
But my brother and his wife are house hunting outside of Paris and it's area , like my sister in law says about the town they live right now " it's a hell hole "

I know there are dangerous areas in Paris, esp. les banlieus. I remember the Pigalle's a dangerous rep, has it changed? I once stayed there with a school, yup it's dangerous. And where exactly do you live in Paris? Unfortunately people can't live where they want.

Hey ! I live ten minutes away from Paris ( that's what you call ' les banlieux ' ) . Pigalle is clearly not a place where you want to go by yourself ! My sister lives by the SacrÚ Coeur which is right next to Pigalle but since it's a tourist place it's always crowded !

Well, this is my first-ever post in any of the Dinatard threads(under any of their various names).Thought it would be nice to give the gals a nice refuge from my presence and, barring something MAJORLY significant, that trend will continue in rock-solid form.However,tomorrow/today--depending on your time zone--is a weighty date on the calendar as Middle Easterners celebrate Emirati-Spoiled Brat-Daddy's Girl-Day...which just HAPPENS to coincide with Cami's birthday.

Yeah,yeah,yeah...we have a separate b'day thread, too, but I had to come to the hub of chatting to remind everyone what a caring sweetheart we have in Cami.Even though she's young and pretty enough to get a passionate Muzzle Kiss, she has also functioned as a loving, supportive motherly figure while still managing to be a friend.

As she currently battles a harrowing new work schedule, along with some annoying, minor health ailments,Cami definitely deserves some love and acknowledgment from her fellow Domik inhabitants. If you disagree,well.....then you're lucky that the moderators protect you from my input on how low you rank:(,so I'll say to any rabble-rousers,simply:Vete al infierno....y hazlo rapidamente,cabrones/cabronas:wavey:....and for those who DON'T have their heads buried in their rectums,I'll see you around in the b'day/3-in-1 thread:angel:

Marat lost to Berdych after coming back from 0-4 in the third set to 4-4 just to be broken and lose 4-6 in the last set

And funny thing , Marat did not shake Tomas's hand which i loved because he annoyed me so much ! And Berdych left the court as if he lost , and Marat stayed to sign balls as if he won  And then there was another ceremony i'll upload it on Megaupload if anyone wants to see it since on Youtube my 9 minutes video only last 5 minutes go figure why

"In 2004 we had this discussion in Olympic Games with Roddick about it and they were blaming me that I'm playing too much," said former world number one Safin.

"And I was saying that the season is too long. We should make it shorter. And the guys, they jumped on me, like I was the one who was wrong.

"So look at all of them -- everybody is falling apart. Everybody is getting injured left and right, and everybody is complaining the season is long. It takes six years to realise that something is wrong?

"They just have to deal with that, not when they are 21 and ambitious and want to make money. They have to think a little bit with their brains and to make the career a little bit longer."

Oh Marat i adore you :hearts:

And maybe Berdych was really injured but as i said to Cara , there's some player that i doubt are really injured sometimes , especially when they call the trainer when they got broken just like it happened in the first set when Marat first broke him to lead 4-3 :o

Hmm so now the secret is out as to why marat was not too happy with andy at the olympics in 2004. There was one brief reference to his dislike of roddick at the time in an interview, when he said he got along well with all players except andy. Finally get to know the real reason why, considering marat is amiable to all players on tour.

Well, first we let the 2 only forwards go who scored, then we bought a forward who already played in Berlin a while ago - he scored 2 goals in 2 years - and then we sold a defender who together with another was part of the "best defence" of the league. Not exactly best circumstances. Then there was trouble with the coach, now we have a new one. So we hope it's improving a bit now. But despite all the good players leaving the ones we have should be good enough for a solid mid table place

Slow it down, honey.

I'm usually bored to tears by F1, but that was a great race to decide the championship. Like last year's Interlagos race, it excited.

Also, Beth Tweddle FTW!

Bercy will also be the final tournament which Marat Safin will play on the ATP circuit. The Russian has won the BNP Paribas Masters on three occasions (2000, 2002 and 2004) and was also part of the Davis Cup team which captured the trophy in the same stadium in 2002. The former world No.1 will be given a fitting send-off, and will carry out the draw on Friday 6 November.

One of my friends who was a volunteer of China Open and worked for it,she loves Dina so much. She told me Dina was the first player to order the training court. Not only for herself but for Marat. She was about to leave and remembered she only ordered the court for Marat while forgot herself
When Dina met Marat first time, they embraced each other.Dina acted like a cute little girl to her brother, then Marat slapped her back gently:awww:
Dina cried when she entered into the players tunnel after her lose. She cried behind the door for a long time:sad: My friend couldn't stop crying for Dina that day so that she was unable to work normally:tape: Then she knew how much she loved the girl:p

Thanks Tracy for sharing that with us ;)

Dina forgetting to book her practice session , can't say i'm really surprised  Doing something for Marat was probably the highlight of her day :p

Having a big brother with a pretty big age difference is always the same scenario :p ! My brother is like one of the only person in the world i don't have a problem hugging but in return i always get a slap ( when he's not literaly punching me ) on my head or on my back  but then i threaten him to tell all his secrets to his wife for him to stop and it works pretty well :)

For some reasons i'm just gonna forget the last part of your story

Ah ok. I mean, it's not illegal everywhere. When your official profession is "prostitute" here in Germany you even pay taxes  so it's legal as long as you're not forced to do it.

Being a prostitute is legal here but owning a brothel and being a pimp isn't :p
Germany is the exact opposite, everything is legal. Just checked a site and Greece is the only country in Europe that has the same legal opinion about prostitution as Germany.

I've heard pretty strong speculation that it was Montanes and Hernandez.

After realising prostitution is legal in so many S.A countries I thought one at least had to be involved. Swedish newspapers said one player is well know and Montanes and Hernandez aren't :p What about Pico? he won a tournie in Sweden that would've raised his profile?

How about the US Maz? We can hardly utter the word s-e-x in public here!

Not that there aren't illegal prostitutes everywhere, though...

From a website -
Prostitution: Limited Legality
Illegal except for 11 rural counties in Nevada, where registration and health checks are required, and Rhode Island, where prostitution is legal but loitering in public places for prostitution and soliciting prostitution services in motor vehicles are illegal.

Brothel Ownership: Illegal
Illegal except for 11 rural counties in Nevada. Brothel ownership in Rhode Island is not prohibited if the owner does not receive the proceeds from prostitution.

Pimping: Illegal

Nevada is pretty alright for brothels etc. Y'all are uptight about sex that is rather obvious :p

Pimping - illegal.. :haha:

I don't know why but I just find this whole situation hilarious. More than anything I want Marat to be asked about it in his presser. Can you imagine what he might say?

Edit* Someone on MTF reportedly saw on TV that it was Dimitrov and Bellucci and the girls were minors.
