Volha had tons of breakpoints at 4-2, but failed to capitalise, and Shahar held. But now, Volha held at love for 5-3. She might just win this match :)

turning out to be a really long set: 5-5 and deuce

Govortsova looks defeated, not chasing every ball, maybe save some energy for doubles.

danielrosario
Sep 26th, 2009, 08:59 AM
now losing 67 25*
she really should have taken those chances in the first set

Yeah Govortsova had tons of chances to take that set.
I remember her listed as Volha Havartsova (mainly because of the two ITF finals clashes between the two in Israel in '03, both won by Shahar; first finals of any kind for the two of them), but the name change probably came from her, why are you still calling her that?

Shvedova taking off the sunglasses? :speakles:

Yari... from 3-1 up, she loses the set 4-6
Now up *1-0 in the second.

Because I'm used to it :p I've always called her that.
In any case, I think it's only the spelling that's different. The pronunciation, as far as I know, is exactly the same :)

Akgul would have been up by 3-0 if she had taken all of her game points :o 1-2 now, please break back!
